Field Characters

Camphor Daisy gets its name from its pungent smelling leaves that smell like Camphor. Its leaves are strongly toothed which is useful in differentiating it from Heterotheca subaxillaris, another yellow flowered aster that is found on sand beaches.

Habitat

Common to well-drained coastal shell and sand beaches.
