Field Characters

The name Rhynchospora pusilla has been incorrectly applied to the species Rhynchospora berteroi (USDA 1998). It is sometimes misidentified as Bulbostylis sp.

Natural History

A rare species found in moist sandy soils of southwest Louisiana and southeast Texas (Hardin county). It ranges along the Gulf Coast from Florida to Texas.
