Field Characters

Identification tip: Similar to P. caroliniana which has an ovoid panicle 2-4 time as long as broad reaching up to 12 cm, while P. angusta has a cylindrical panicle that is at least 5 times as long as broad reaching up to 17 cm. Spike 4x longer than wide, pale green. Leaves point straight up, > 0.5 inch wide.
