Field Characters

Leaves arrow-shaped, pointed tip, 3 veins to lobes. Petiole is 5-sided in cross section. Multiple veins radiating from the point of attachment to the petiole. (similar to Peltandra virginica which has parallel side veins radiating from the sides of the main veins, rather than from one point as in Sagittaria) Filaments of anthers not hairy.
