Field Characters

May be distinguished from Anagallis arvensis by its leaves which are opposite while those of A. minima are alternate. Also A. arvensis has flowers borne on long peduncles while those of A. minima are short to nearly sessile.

Natural History

Most keys still list this species as Centunculus minimus.
