Field Characters

White vein on leaf underside. Milkweeds have milky sap. Leaves that are no more than 6 times as long as wide. Inflorescences paired at the upper nodes. Petioles 1 cm long on leaves that are hairy beneath. Hoods that are bent abruptly away from the anther.
